The funding gave us the opportunity to deliver a project that was innovative in its design and had learners at its centre. The activities undertaken by the learners were appropriate, practical and relevant to their course and to their future careers. It has also helped the College forge closer links with the diverse range of religious and faith based organisations that exist in our community. Already, we are seeing the dividends. The Boston Mosque and Islamic Centre, having welcomed our learners, have now extended an invitation to staff at the College and a visit is in the pipeline. The conference also raised a lot of interest for a Boston inter-faith forum and this is now being taken forward by some of the delegates that attended the conference. Dissemination of the project will continue via the following:
- Education & Training Foundation's Community of Practice Research Conference - 8th July
- National Council of Faiths and Beliefs in Further Education (East Midlands)
- Boston College Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Working Group
- Boston College Staff Newsletter
- Boston College Curriculum & Quality Meetings
- Boston Borough Council Equality Group
